ANNUNCIATION PARISH CHOIR
AIMS
AND OBJECTIVES
1.
To sing at Masses and all other liturgical functions
2.
To provide a forum for men, women and children, with a special interest in
music for their spiritual, moral, socio-economical and cultural benefits
3.
To contribute to the growth and progress of the Church
4. To encourage mutual understanding, love and
harmony among members
5.
To train choristers in the art of music and educate them on the relevant church
doctrines
HISTORY
Annunciation
Parish Choir was formed on the 10th of March 2012, for adequate guidance and
coordination of the choirs in the parish.
The choir is made up of all the mass choirs
that may exist in the parish at anytime i.eCurrently made up of 3 unit-choirs,
stated as follows;
Mater
Dei Choir– 6.00am Mass
Holy
Ghost Choir– 8.30am Mass
Voice
of the Angels Choir– 10.30am Mass.
MEETING:
Meeting holds quarterly while Rehearsal holds on Mondays, Thursdays and
Saturdays.
