Aims
and Objectives:
To bring the Word of the Lord to the Congregation
through effective proclamation in all Masses
BRIEF
HISTORY:
The Board is as old as the Parish. It was originally
established as soon the Church was made an Outstation from Holy Family Cath.
Church 22rd Festac Town in 2009. It was formed to cater for the then three
Outstations namely: CCOA, CCOV and St Joseph's Abule Ado.
DAYS OF MEETINGS AND DEVOTIONS:
Our Monthly General meetings is on every 4th
Saturdays, while our Devotions is on every 2nd Saturdays of every month.
OTHER
ACTIVITIES IN THE PARISH:
We normally participate in the Parish monthly Laity
meetings.
- We also participate in the cleaning of the church
whenever it is our turn to do so.
- Hosting of Festac Deanery Board of Lectors in the
Parish.
- Participating in the Festac Deanery Bi monthly
meetings on rotational basis.
- Participating in elections both in the Parish and
the Deanery levels.
- Retreats,
Seminars and Workshop in the Parish, Deanery and Archdiocesan levels.
- Hosting the Archdiocesan Board Lectors for
programs when allocated to us by the Deanery.
